Dr. Chain founded Mindset in February 1997, recruiting a world class team to accelerate Mindset's R&D programs and commercial development. Dr. Chain earned his PhD at the Weizmann Institute of Science and was a post-doctoral research fellow at Columbia University where he conducted research into the molecular basis of memory.

Shalom Allenstein has more than 15 years experience in finance management and has held senior management positions with several successful companies. Most recently, Mr. Allenstein was the CFO at Proficiency Ltd, a Jerusalem-based company with 95 employees. Previously, Mr. Allenstein was one of the original employees at Cellcom, the leading Israeli cellular telephone company, where he was the Financial Comptroller responsible for the internal control and financial reporting as the company grew from a startup to over $1 billion in turnover in 5 years. Mr. Allenstein is experienced in US and Israeli corporate accounting. He obtained his degree in economics, specializing in computing from the London School of Economics in 1980.

Dr. Fitzer-Attas is a biologist with special training in immunology and cell biology. She was formerly a Senior Scientist with BioTechnology General, where she directed a tumor vaccine project. Dr. Fitzer-Attas received her PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a BSc from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She also completed two post-doctoral fellowships, one in the Department of Immunology at the Weizmann Institute, and the other in the G.W. Hooper Foundation at the University of California, San Francisco.
