Dr. Daniel Chain, CEO, is presenting at the 8th International Partnering Conference, Bio-Europe, on 11th November in Stuttgart, Germany. Dr. Chain is participating in the conference as a member of a panel entitled: "Alzheimer's Disease - Where are the Drugs"? Dr. Chain will speak about the founding principals behind Mindset, and the company's efforts to develop and commercialize a variety of Alzheimer's therapeutics. The conference will be held at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv on Wednesday, July 17th, 2002.
 
Prion diseases of humans and animals share certain features with Alzheimer's disease, most notably the accumulation of an amyloid protein in the brain and significant oxidative damage. Previously, Dr. Bendheim and his research colleagues made important contributions to our current understanding of the unique pathogenetic mechanisms of prion diseases.
